Thoughts from last night's Sabres Game

The Sabres looked really good in their home opener last night against the Canadians. Daniel Paille gets the top player of the game in my books even though he did not register a point. His check on Kostitsyn in the third period. Lydman also registers major props for the super save of the net.

Miller looked really good last night especially later in the game. A major upgrade from the end of last year in which he would wear down towards the end of the game.

Next game is Monday afternoon against the Islanders.
