In some good news to start the season off, the Senators have announced that Alfredsson will be out for about two weeks due to arthroscopic knee surgery he will have today. This will take care of a bone chip that dislodged during the second game in Stockholm.
Hopefully this disrupts the Sens and derails their scoring for a while. Just saying that as a complete homer
The Sabres face the Senators for the first time on the 27th.
