The Sabres have sent down two more players yesterday. Adam Dennis was reassigned to Portland while this year's first round pick Tyler Myers was sent to his junior team, Kelowna.
Myers really did not have a chance to break the lineup and more time in juniors will probably do him good on his puck movement. Dennis will have pressure on him this season with the addition of Jhonas Enroth in Portland. Enroth will challenge Dennis for the starting spot in Portland and I do think that Dennis needs the challenge because he has basically been handed the top spot in Rochester for the past few seasons. Now Dennis has to show that he has the talent to compete for the position.
