Palin set to drop puck at Flyers game, Hockey Moms everywhere run in fear.

The Flyers announced yesterday that VP nominee Sarah Palin will drop the ceremonial first puck at the Flyers home opener Saturday against the Rangers. She will be joined at center ice with the winner of the Flyers' contest honoring their ultimate hockey mom.

Hockey moms across the country have been upset over the fact that Palin has been essentially pimping herself out as a hockey mom. They feel that she has contaminated what hockey moms really are, dedicated and selfless women who drive their sons or daughters all across the country to support their love of the game of hockey.

The Flyers' owner Ed Snider is also a supporter of the McCain campaign and is the reason why Palin is coming to Philadelphia.
